It's a moment of joy as well sorry for Pallavi, the most prolific dance bar girl, her sister Shilpa is getting engaged in Bhavnagar , although Pallavi is sad because the family had not called her for the occasion , but she is happy for Shilpa as she loves her younger sister. Things take a bizarre turn when Shilpa informs Pallavi that the engagment got cancelled because she is a bar girl , Pallavi feels very sad and to add her worries, she witnesses a murder that night.

The cop Shirodkar decides to hide her from the killer and makes her an undercover maid servent , he plans to station her in Mehta family which is knows for it's pride and prejudices .

Mehta family has Dhansukh, his sons Shrikant and Ashish .. but the family is ruled by Hansa , the culture fanatic and a well respected social worker. Pallavi is introduced into this family as Parvati, an unfortunate widow .. the life is never gonna be same for Pallavi. She gets experience of a life time in just few days as she finds extremely difficult to cope up wth the unruly disciplined life dictated by Hansa.. As she decides to run away from this house, she understands that Hansa is the same woman who has rejected the marriage proposal of shilpa and Ashish is the one who is in love with Shilpa. Pallavi decides to stay back and bring the lovers together ..

But the task is not easy , Ashish does not have the courage to speak to Hansa and Pallavi decides to win over the family on positive strides , but things go on backfiring and puts her into the bad books of Hansa. Pallavi wins sympathy from Dhansukh , but for her the more bothering element is Shrikant who has divorced his wife and is genuinely falling in love with . the time is running away from Pallavi and Hansa looks all set to get Ashish married to a miliionaire's daughter. Palllavi manages to break this engagement but gets caught in the mid way . when Hansa understands that Pallavi is a bar girl and Shilpa's sister as well, she goes beserk and humiliates Pallavi left right and center, as she wants to throw Pallavi out of the house,Pallavi challenges that she will get her sister married to Ashish by hook or crook … how she achieves her goal is the entertaining climax of the story which is full of fun , emotions and drama…
