Sameer is a tution teacher of Sneha – and fall in love.

Sneha’s father, Chhabildas Sheth, thought that Sameer’s family was too middle-class for his only child – who was brought up like a princess.

But Sameer and Sneha are young and love each other. They defy their families and get married. She gives birth to twin daughters Chini and Mini. One day they discover that Mini has Thalassaemia Major. This is a genetic disorder that requires frequent blood transfusions – a procedure that requires considerable expense every time. There is no known cure.

The play deals with this middle-class family’s race against time to save the life of their child.

First they are too proud to seek the help of their parents. Soon they are willing to beg – do anything to save their child’s life. They were about to seek forgiveness and request the father in law, they find out that he is no more and donated the entire wealth to the trust. Finally, they have to deal with an unwelcome choice:

EITHER Live with the child and watch him die
OR give her up for adoption – so that he may live.
